About writeque
The people behind reliable feeds.
writeque is a UK media feed hub. We operate cameras, manage live signals and distribute content so that news programmes and television broadcasters can stay on air with confidence.
Built by broadcast engineers, for broadcasters.
writeque started with a simple observation: most on-air problems begin long before the red light comes on. A missing backup route, an untested encoder or an unclear handover can cost a broadcaster its best story.
Today we bring camera operators, vision engineers and transmission controllers together under one roof, so a single team can look after the whole chain from lens to distribution point.
We work with national and regional news programmes, independent producers and live event teams across the United Kingdom, and we keep our operations desk staffed day and night.

How we work
Reliability first
Every feed has a backup path and a named engineer watching it. If something can fail, we plan for it before going live.
Calm under pressure
Breaking news does not wait. Our crews are trained to work quickly and clearly when the clock is running.
Open communication
Producers, directors and engineers talk to the same people throughout, with plain language and no surprises.
Craft in every frame
Good pictures are a result of careful framing, exposure and sound. We care about the detail your viewers never notice.

On location, wherever the story is.
From city streets to stadiums and remote sites, our field crews arrive with tested kit and a clear plan for getting your pictures home. We rehearse the signal path before the broadcast, not during it.
A crew of operators, engineers and controllers.
